Visa Information
Preparing for Your Journey to China
Before travelling to China, you will need to obtain a valid visa.
China does not offer a visa-on-arrival service, so you must apply before you travel.
The exact process can vary depending on your country, so we recommend contacting your nearest Chinese Embassy or Consulate for the most up-to-date requirements. They will confirm:
- Which visa type you need
- The documents required
- Processing times and fees
Which Visa Should You Apply For?
- Less than 90 days – Apply for a Tourist Visa (L-type).
- More than 3 months – Apply for a Short-Term Study Visa (X-2).
- This visa can be extended in China for up to 12 months if needed.
- More than 12 months – Apply for a Long-Term Study Visa (X-1).
- For this visa, you will require a JW202 form, which our academy will provide for you.
Our academy is among the few martial arts schools in China officially able to support long-term study visas.

Visa Fees and Processing Times
Visa fees vary depending on:
- Your nationality
- The number of entries (single, double, or multiple)

For accurate information, always check directly with your nearest Chinese embassy.
