You’ll stay in carefully selected 4–5 star hotels, including the International Shaolin Dragon Academy Hotel (or equivalent of comparable standard). All rooms include either single or twin beds, private bathroom facilities, air conditioning, heating, TV, and telephone.

Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival in Zhengzhou (27 July 2026)

Upon arrival at Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport or Zhengzhou Train Station, you will be met by our team and transferred to the Academy.

In the evening, enjoy a special welcome dinner hosted by the Headmaster, who will share valuable insights and training tips to prepare you for the days ahead. This marks the official start of your Martial Arts & Heritage Camp experience.

Days 2–10 – Martial Arts Training (28 July – 5 August 2026)

Begin with registration, orientation, and meeting the Academy’s teachers and fellow students before settling into the training routine.

  • Core Training: Daily sessions in Kung Fu, Sanda (combat), and Tai Chi.
  • Optional Classes: Qi Gong, Mandarin, tea ceremony, calligraphy, massage, acupuncture, and traditional Chinese medicine.

Day 11: Shaolin Temple & Pagoda Forest (6 August 2026)

The day begins with a thrilling Shaolin Kung Fu performance, showcasing the legendary skills, power, and discipline of the Shaolin warriors, alongside a graceful Tai Chi demonstration highlighting balance and mindfulness.

Afterwards, explore the world-famous Shaolin Temple, the spiritual home of Kung Fu. Wander through its courtyards, halls, and shrines before visiting the Pagoda Forest, a remarkable collection of ancient stone pagodas that serve as memorials to generations of Shaolin monks.

In the afternoon, ascend Mount Songshan to reach Bodhidharma’s Cave, where the founder of Zen Buddhism is said to have meditated in solitude for nine years. The site offers breathtaking views and a profound cultural and spiritual experience.

As evening falls, return to Dengfeng for leisure time. Explore local restaurants, shops, and entertainment before enjoying the Zen Shaolin Music Festival, a spectacular event combining martial arts, music, and light displays — a fitting celebration of tradition and modern artistry.

Day 12 (7 August 2026) – Day 13 (8 August 2026): Martial Arts Training

Following your visit to the Shaolin Temple, training resumes as normal on Days 12 and 13. These sessions are focused on consolidating your skills and strengthening everything you have learned so far, ensuring you are fully prepared for the camp’s conclusion.

Day 14: Graduation & Farewell Celebration (9 August 2026)

Your final full day at the Academy brings together all aspects of your martial arts journey.

  • Morning Training: A final focused session revisiting core techniques in Shaolin Kung Fu, Tai Chi, Qi Gong, and Sanda. Designed to refine your practice and prepare you for assessment.
  • Afternoon Graduation Ceremony: Under the guidance of the Headmaster and Academy masters, you will showcase your skills, receive individual feedback, and be awarded a graduation certificate in recognition of your achievement. A commemorative group photo will be taken to mark the occasion.
  • Evening Farewell Dinner: Celebrate your progress with a farewell banquet, shared with instructors and fellow students. Enjoy authentic Chinese cuisine, light entertainment, and reflections from the Academy team as you close your martial arts and cultural adventure on a high note.
